A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser when you visit a site, letting the site remember something about you between one page and the next. We use as few as possible, and none of them to sell your data.
1. The kinds we use
1. Essential — no consent required
Without these the site does not work. They include WordPress session cookies, WooCommerce cart and checkout cookies, the language preference cookie, and form anti-forgery cookies. They cannot be disabled from within the site, and blocking them in your browser breaks login and the shopping cart.
2. Preference cookies
These remember your choices so you do not repeat them on every visit — for example the language you selected, Arabic or English.
3. Analytics — with your consent
These help us see which pages are most visited, where visitors come from, and where they stop, so we can improve the site. We rely on aggregate measurement and do not use them to build a personal profile of you or to target you with advertising on other sites.
2. Cookie detail
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| wordpress_logged_in_* | Keeps the subscriber login session | Essential | Session |
| woocommerce_cart_hash | Tracks the contents of the cart | Essential | Session |
| woocommerce_items_in_cart | Shows the number of items in the cart | Essential | Session |
| wp_woocommerce_session_* | Links the order to the browser through to payment | Essential | 2 days |
| pll_language | Stores the selected language | Preference | 1 year |
| Analytics measurement cookies | Measures visits and page performance in aggregate | Analytics | Up to 2 years |
This list may change as the site develops, and we update it on every material change.
3. How to control them
- In your browser: every browser lets you delete stored cookies, block them entirely, or block third-party cookies only. See the privacy settings in your browser.
- Private browsing: deletes cookies automatically when you close the window.
- Do Not Track: we honour the “Do Not Track” setting in browsers that send it, and suppress analytics measurement.
4. Third-party cookies
Measurement and security tools may set their own cookies when a page loads. We keep those tools to what we genuinely need, and we host fonts and assets on our own servers rather than loading them from external networks — a deliberate choice to reduce leakage of visitor data to parties with no role in the service.
